About the Event

The first week of our two week trip into the North of England is at Vale of Pickering Caravan Park (https://www.valeofpickering.co.uk/). It’s a 5*,family owned, site on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. It has excellent facilities, a shop and an on-site Coffee Shop & Eatery. The nearest town is Pickering with its Castle, Beck Isle Museum & North Yorks Moors Railway (7m).

The North York Moors & Dalby Forest can be accessed via Thornton-le-Dale (4m) and other points of interest include Scamston Hall & Gardens (6m), Malton, Eden Camp Museum & Flamingo land (10m), Castle Howard (19m) and Helmsley (19m)

The nearest east coast resorts are Scarborough (13m) and Robin Hoods Bay, Whitby & Sandsend (24-27m). York, with its large number of attractions, is 30m

What's on?

As with many of our rallies, a “free & easy” get together where you can visit the many points of interest the North Yorks Moors has to offer, as well as meeting friends old and new.

There is a group meal at the Coachman Inn and a couple of tea & cakes get togethers on the site.
