About the Event

Join us between the dates of Saturday 25th July to Saturday 8th August 2026 for a long, sun-soaked Summer Holiday Rally at Harlyn Sands, Padstow. This is one of our most popular longer-stay rallies, and it’s easy to see why. Harlyn Sands Holiday Park offers an incredible coastal setting, direct access to one of Cornwall’s best beaches, and family-friendly facilities including an indoor pool, restaurant, bar, evening entertainment, children’s fun park, and a surf school nearby. Whether you’re here for pure relaxation, fun-packed family days, cliff-top walks, or beach-hopping around the coastline, this rally has something for everyone.

What's on?

Padstow and Trevose Head offer endless holiday activities. Here are some of the best picks for late July / early August:

Beaches & Outdoor Activities

  • Harlyn Bay: right on your doorstep; a beautiful soft-sand beach perfect for swimming, paddling and relaxing.
  • Harlyn Surf School: for surf lessons, paddleboarding or simply hiring equipment and having fun.
  • Constantine Bay, Trevone Beach, and Treyarnon Bay, stunning beaches within short reach. Trevone has a tidal pool for safe family swimming.
  • Camel Trail: walk or cycle the famous, scenic trail from Padstow alongside the Camel Estuary.
  • Coastal Walk to Stepper Point: breathtaking clifftop views over the estuary and coastline.

On the Water

  • Padstow Sealife Safaris: boat trips to spot seals, dolphins, birds and possibly basking sharks.
  • Pleasure boat cruises from Padstow Harbour: a perfect day out for families.
  • Rock–Padstow Ferry: take the short ferry trip across the estuary to the village of Rock.

Attractions & Local Interest

  • National Lobster Hatchery (Padstow): learn about conservation efforts and see baby lobsters up close.
  • Prideaux Place: a stunning Elizabethan manor house with beautiful grounds and regular summer events.
  • Padstow Museum: small, charming and packed with local history.
  • Padstow Brewing Company: sample local craft beers or join a tasting session.

Padstow is famously home to Rick Stein’s restaurants and cafés, though be prepared for queues during peak summer!  Local villages also offer plenty of independent shops, ice creams, craft stalls and holiday treats.
