About the Event

Hear Ye, Hear Ye!

Join us from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th August 2026 for a truly regal weekend at Eccleshall Castle,. This is always one of our most popular venues — peaceful grounds, beautiful surroundings, and a warm, friendly atmosphere set in the heart of the Staffordshire countryside.

This year, we’re stepping back in time for a Kings & Queens Weekend, complete with courtly fun, a themed banquet, medieval charm, and light-hearted entertainment suitable for all noble households!

Arrive after 12:00pm – Depart before 12:00pm

What's on?

Saturday Evening – The Grand Banquet (6:00 PM)

Step into our Banqueting Hall (the Gazebo!) for an evening fit for royalty.

Feast Includes:

Traditional Staffordshire oatcakes
Pulled pork baps
A selection of summer desserts
A glass of mead to toast the kingdom

Entertainment:

Play Your Cards Right — a fun game of chance and cheer for Lords and Ladies!

Essentials:

Please bring your own chairs and drinks
Dress code: Lords and Ladies (medieval attire encouraged but not compulsory)
Social Fee expected to be £5 per head – will be confirmed nearer the time.

Relax onsite, the castle grounds offer a lovely setting for reading, chatting or simply soaking up the atmosphere.
If you fancy a drive, the wider Staffordshire countryside offers pretty villages, garden centres, craft outlets and scenic walks.
