Founded in 1962, the East Midlands Group of the Motor Caravanners’ Club serves motorhome and motor caravanning enthusiasts across Rutland, Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, and Lincolnshire. The group is run entirely by volunteers in accordance with the policies and constitution of the national Motor Caravanners’ Club.
The group arranges regular rallies and social gatherings throughout the year at various locations. These events give members the opportunity to explore local areas and meet up with fellow motor caravanners. Rallies range from quiet weekend gatherings with basic facilities to larger social events featuring professional entertainment and themed celebrations for occasions such as Easter, Halloween, and St. George’s Day.
Any person owning or using a motor caravan can join the Motor Caravanners’ Club. Membership allows attendance at any rally organized by the main club or any regional group. Families, children, and pets are welcome, and support is provided for members with mobility difficulties.
