We will be returning to Pembrey Country Park for the Christmas Lights Trail, this time on the Main Site. Toilets, showers, Electric Hookup and a range of pubs and restaurants nearby!
There is just so much to see and do both in the park and in the surrounding areas. The Country Park is made up of some 500 acres of parkland, huge open areas of grassland and dense forested areas packed full with paths and tracks leading to hidden gems. Its southern edge is bordered by the 8 mile long Cefn Sidan beach, golden sand as far as the eye can see.
Away from the beach but still within the park, you’ll find a dry ski slope with hire shop and a spectacular taboggan run, pitch and putt golf, mini golf, cycle hire, laser tag, adventure playground, the list goes on. Then to relax there are cafes, restaurants and coffee shops.

From the east:
Exit the M4 at junction 48 and follow the A4138 towards Llanelli then on towards Burry Port then follow the brown signs for Pembrey Country Park. Once in the park, follow the SWDA signs.
From the west:
From Carmarthen follow the A484 towards Kidwelly then follow the brown signs to Pembrey Country Park. Once in the park follow the SWDA signs.
No need to book, just turn up, introduce yourself to the steward and enjoy.
