A safe, easy-to-ride cycle path leads you straight into the heart of historic York. Nature lovers will also enjoy nearby Skipwith Common nature reserve (just over a mile away) and Hagge Woods, both within easy reach.
With the gently rolling landscape south of York, cycling is a fantastic way to get around. But if walking is more your pace, you will still be able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, just at a slower speed.
The village of Riccall, just a mile away, offers two welcoming pubs with restaurants, a small park with a children’s play area, and a couple of handy shops for any essentials you may have forgotten. The 415 bus runs regularly from Riccall, providing convenient access to both York and Selby.
