Formed in 1978, Gwent DA is a District Association within the Cambrian and Wyvern Region of the Camping and Caravanning Club. Nestled along the Welsh border, the group explores the scenic countryside of Wales and parts of England with a welcoming, community-focused spirit.
The group organizes four-night camping meets starting on Thursdays, as well as extended Temporary Holiday Sites running seven to ten days. All Camping and Caravanning Club members are welcome to attend, whether for the full duration or just a weekend getaway.
To camp with Gwent DA, you must be a member of The Camping and Caravanning Club. When joining the national club, you are automatically assigned to your closest District Association, which is shown on your membership card. Members are then free to camp with Gwent DA or any of the other 93 DAs across the UK. Membership starts from £56.95 a year.
