The Birmingham District Association (Birmingham DA) is a local group operating as part of The Camping and Caravanning Club. Founded in 1907, it is the oldest District Association in the Central Counties Region.
The group organizes various free and easy weekend camping meets throughout the season, including special events such as the Astley AGM weekend with food and entertainment, the Droitwich Saltfest weekend at Dodderhill, and a Halloween meet at Astley. The committee also runs a Temporary Holiday Site at Harlyn Bay, Cornwall during July and August.
To join Birmingham DA, you must become a member of The Camping and Caravanning Club. Upon joining, you will be assigned to a District Association based on where you live, which will be indicated on your membership card. Membership grants access to camp with any of the 93 DAs across 13 regions in the UK, with pricing starting from £56.95 per year.
