The club was formed over the weekend of 7-9 September 1973, when 76 Elddis caravans and their owners converged on Gosforth Park Racecourse, Newcastle upon Tyne to celebrate the inaugural meeting, arranged by the management of Elddis Caravans in response to many enquiries regarding the existence of an ‘owners club’. Over that weekend a committee was elected, the structure of the club formed and from the first official rally at Lilliardsedge, Jedburgh in May 1974 through more than 3500 rallies to date.
Membership allows you to make even more use of your touring caravan, campervan or motorhome in a cost effective way by attending any one of the rallies organised by members throughout the UK.
Every member receives a copy of the current Programme of Events, more commonly known as the Rally Book, which provides details of all rallies to be held during the year.
