The site is small and family run, with pitches mostly separated by flowering bushes, an oasis of calm in an otherwise bustling area. Situated alongside the splendid Hérault river, you can cycle or walk into the village of Le Grau d’Agde (about 2km) or on into the historic centre of Agde itself. The Sunday market is a must and you could then catch the small ferry or ‘passeur’ to the tiny resort of La Tamarissière on the opposite side of the Herault. The site’s swimming pool is in a sunny position and is overlooked by the bar.

Agde is a town that uniquely combines history, coastal relaxation, and French charm. Originally founded by Greek settlers, it is characterised by narrow lanes, traditional markets, and basalt buildings, creating a distinctive atmosphere.
