Another Date with Jane and the Dambusters

A return visit to an area which abounds with interesting places to visit.  The commercial site is well managed with toilets, showers, wash-up areas etc plus water to each pitch, waste water does require a waste master, Motor homes have a service point available for your use and the site has reserved us pitches together.

Woodhall Spa is a short stroll away and has pubs, restaurants independent shops and the memorials to 617 (Dambusters) Squadron.  Situated directly across from the site is the famous “Petwood Hotel’ the home of the ‘Dambusters’. It contains the ‘squadron bar’ which is rammed with 617 memorabilia and open to the public.

Just a short walk through the woods is the ‘Kinema in the Woods’ a 1920s themed cinema, which does show up to date films and the ‘Tea House in the Woods’ founded in 1903 and still going strong.

An area rich in WW2 history with the ‘Just Jane’ East Kirby airfield and museum a short drive away together with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at RAF Conningsby. 

With so much to do in the area it will be a ‘free and easy’ rally with the option for the marquee in the evening.
