Note there are no facilities available on this site. Walks directly from the site. Close to Carlisle and Hadrian’s Wall. Nearest bus stop is 2.8 miles, with services to surrounding towns. Armathwaite train station 4 miles away (Carlisle – Settle line).
This is a free and easy rally, ideal for an autumnal break with friends.

Note: Please only use these recommended directions. Do not follow sat nav as other roads are unsuitable for towing vehicles. Do not approach through Armathwaite. Leave M6/A6 at junction 42 onto the B6263 (signposted Wetheral). In 1.75miles (about 0.25 mile after crossing the railway bridge in Cumwhinton) turn right (signposted Wetheral Shield, Armathwaite, Animal Refuge). The site is on the right in about 2.75 miles. Note: Bumpy road- recommended maximum speed 35mph.
