Hendra Holiday Park is an award-winning, five-star, family-owned site located just outside of Newquay in the picturesque Cornish countryside. Open since 1972, the park is known for its extensive facilities and wide range of accommodation options, which include caravan holiday homes, luxury lodges, and pitches for touring and camping. A key highlight is the Oasis Fun Pools complex, which features one of the largest indoor fun pools in the Southwest, complete with multiple flumes and a river rapid ride, plus a heated outdoor pool for the summer months. Beyond the pools, the park offers a lively atmosphere with daily activities and evening entertainment for all ages, alongside multiple on-site eateries and a well-stocked shop.
With its location just outside Newquay, Hendra Holiday Park is an excellent base for exploring Cornwall’s stunning beaches, coastal paths, and family-friendly attractions.
Fistral Beach
A world-famous surfing destination, this beach is less than 1.5 miles from Hendra. You can take surf lessons, hire equipment, or watch the experts in action. It also has great facilities, cafes, and shops.
Porth Beach
A long, family-friendly beach closer to Hendra, Porth is known for its extensive rock pools at low tide, which are perfect for exploring with children.
