Lunar Owners Club - Camping L'Isle Verte, Loire Valley, France

The second of our Lunar Owners Club get-togethers in France is based at Camping L’Isle Verte (https://www.campingisleverte.com/) on the banks of the River Loire at Montsoreau. It follows on directly after our Normandie visit. The site has a restaurant, pool and all the amenities needed and the village of Montsoreau is one of the “plus belle villages” in France. It’s a great base for exploring and an equally great base from which to watch the world go by with a coffee & croissant!

The largest town in the area is Samur (7m) with trips around the town by “petite train” to see its Chateau, Equestrian facilities & Cultural Heritage. The whole area abounds with points of interest…. visit the Château de Villandry (25m) with its amazing gardens or have a day at the Bioparc-Zoo (23m)…both make for a fabulous but different day out….or visit the myriad of “Caves” to taste the best wines the area has to offer.
