Lunar Owners Club - Camping sous les Etoiles, Normandie, France

In 2026, the Lunar Owners Club is running a couple of get-togethers in France. The first (and main) one being at Camping sous les Étoiles in Normandie (https://www.sous-les-etoiles.camp/). We are mainly on fully serviced pitches. The site is well equipped with new toilets & showers and a café bar serving drinks and seasonal evening meals. Pitches are generally of a reasonable size and power supply is 10amp.

It’s less than 40m from the ferry port at Ouistreham (Caen) and ideally placed for trips around the Normandie coast (or for topping up on Calvados if that’s your tipple!!)

The area is famous for the “D-Day Landings” and there are numerous places of interest connected with the landings including several beaches & museums, various Commonwealth, Canadian & US cemeteries and “Pegasus” Bridge. The furthest of these is Utah Beach some 45+ miles from site…others are much closer.

There are also a number of interesting towns and villages around…. Villedieu-les-Poêles, famous for copper workshops and a bell foundry, (24m) and Bayeux with its incredible tapestry (30m) amongst others.
