Shardlow is one of Britain’s only largely intact inland ports along the River Trent. The village features an old area predating the canal and a newer port settlement built with the opening of the Trent and Mersey Canal in 1777. Its warehouses and boat houses reflect its historic character. Today, Shardlow offers inns, restaurants, leisure activities on the canal and river, and visitors can explore its history at Shardlow Heritage Centre beside the Clock Warehouse.
Come and join us at Shardlow Marina on their rally field. Visit the on-site cafe/bar for food and drink.

Directions: Leave the A50 south Derbyshire onto the B5010 towards Shardlow. After crossing the traffic lighted bridge, turn right in 300 yds prior to the Navigation Inn into Shardlow Marina. Follow the DCC signs.
