Tuckers Grave

Tuckers Grave is a pub with an adjacent campsite located in the Somerset countryside, near Bath. Known for its historic 200-year-old cider house, the inn provides a unique camping experience with amenities and entertainment on-site. 

The inn gets its distinctive name from a local farmworker, Edward Tucker, who in 1747 reportedly committed suicide in a nearby barn. At the time, suicides were forbidden burial in consecrated ground. As a result, Edward Tucker was interred in an unmarked grave at the crossroads where the pub now stands.  As a traditional cider house, it offers a fine selection of local Somerset ciders served straight from the barrel, alongside traditional ales.

Inside, you’ll find a friendly, traditional atmosphere, complete with an open fire and no loud televisions or jukeboxes.

Behind the pub is a picturesque, multi-field campsite surrounded by the Somerset countryside. It’s a popular spot for campers looking for a rural, relaxed experience.
