Seaburn Showground THS offers coastal camping in Sunderland. The site opens gates at 12:00 PM on the arrival date to manage traffic flow, with official site opening at 1:00 PM. Campers are advised not to arrive prior to 12:00 PM.
Own sanitation is mandatory as there are no toilet or shower blocks on site. Calor gas bottle exchange with next-day delivery is usually available via the stewards area. At the landowner’s request, firepits and disposable floor barbecues are strictly prohibited.
The site provides direct access to the local beach across the road. Nearby amenities and attractions include:
– Seaburn Stack featuring live music, comedy, food vendors, and bars
– Local amusements, cafes, pubs, and fish & chip shops along the promenade
– Roker Park (10-minute walk)
– South Shields (10-minute drive) featuring a theme park, leisure centre, and crazy golf
– Sizzling pub and Miller & Carter Steakhouse within two miles

Situated on Whitburn Road, Sunderland, SR6 8AA. A bus stop is located directly outside the site gates for travel into Sunderland or South Shields.
No advance booking required. Members are strongly recommended to contact the site steward phone line on the day prior to travel to confirm site availability.
