A hilltop legacy South Yorkshire DA site that has stunning views of Scarborough from the top of Olivers Mount. A massive well-maintained field, this is an ideal base for many attractions along the Yorkshire East Coast, with a short walk into town from the site. Bridlington and Filey are nearby by car, and Whitby is a 45-minute drive away.
For those who prefer dining out, the Olivers Mount Restaurant is located next to the camping field near the monument, just a short walk away with no hills to climb.
Note: At the landowner’s request, no firepits or floor disposable barbecues are allowed on any S.Y.D.A sites. Campers are required to bring their own sanitation facilities.
Evening socials take place in the small marquee, with stewards advertising planned social activities on the site notice board.
