The Camping and Caravanning Club is a not-for-profit organisation that has been helping people enjoy the great outdoors since 1901. With over 730,000 members, the Club is open to everyone – from complete beginners to seasoned campers and caravanners.
The Club operates nearly 100 award-winning Club Sites across the UK, alongside over 1,200 smaller member-exclusive Certificated Sites. All profits are reinvested into improving services, facilities, and the overall camping experience.
Founded by Thomas Hiram Holding – known as the “father of modern camping” – the Club has a rich history, with early presidents including explorer Robert Falcon Scott and Scouting founder Lord Baden-Powell. Today, it continues that legacy under the leadership of President Hamza Yassin, a passionate wildlife cameraman and adventurer.
The Club believes in the power of camping to improve wellbeing, bring people closer to nature, and create lasting memories. It fosters a friendly, inclusive community and is committed to promoting responsible camping and environmental care.

The platform is currently in an active testing phase, with several new developments added since the last version. We’re continuing to fix bugs, refine features, and enhance the overall experience.
The website is fully functional, and a number of live events have been published to help populate and test the platform. Clubs, groups, and visitors are very welcome to explore the site and submit their own events too.
