5 Nights. Pre Meet BCC FOL MR 103/993474. All members of the camping and caravanning club are welcome to join Ribblesdale BCC at our meet at this site. Elsan and water only, own sanitation essential. Grass field site without electricity.
Local things to do include the Mid Norfolk Railway, which is around a 15-minute stroll to the station, featuring regular steam train services to Wymondham Abbey station during summer months.
Dereham town centre is a 15-20 minute walk away with a good selection of shops, restaurants, and takeaways. Dereham Windmill with a little cafe is around a 10-minute walk, and major supermarkets are also within a 10-minute walk. Good road access allows easy exploration of the North Norfolk Coast, and St George’s Distillery at Larling is approximately 20 miles away.

A47 either East or West bound, use the turnings signposted Swanton Morley. Then pick up the B1147 (old A47) Norwich Road and head west towards the Town Centre for around 1 mile, just past the Coach Makers PH, take the second turning on the Left opposite the Fire Station, onto Greenfields Road, also Brown Sign for Dereham Windmill, follow this road for just under 1/2 mile and take the second left turn onto Honeysuckle Drive. Site entrance 30 meters on the right. Follow BCC Signs.
Directions To FOL: Our Pre Meet is around a 45-minute drive from the FOL Site near Banham Zoo. Suggested route to the FOL from Dereham is follow A47 to Norwich, then A11 to Attleborough, after passing the BP/Shell filling stations on the A11 take the next exit and follow signs for B1077 to Diss. Upon picking up the one-way system in Attleborough, follow B1077 Diss signs plus brown signs to Banham Zoo. Follow Banham Zoo signage after passing through Old Buckenham. Upon entering Banham, look for BCC Signage.
