Leyburn is a market town and civil parish in the district of Richmondshire, North Yorkshire, England, sitting above the northern bank of the River Ure in Wensleydale.
Places to visit in and around Leyburn and things to do include Black Sheep Brewery in Masham, Tennants Auctioneers, Constable Burton Hall Gardens, Wensleydale Railway, Cat Pottery, Middleham Castle, Forbidden Corner in Coverham, Bolton Castle, and Jervaulx Abbey.
Leyburn features weekly markets every Friday selling local produce from handmade chocolates to cheeses, preserves, and gluten-free cakes. The town also hosts a farmers’ market on the fourth Saturday of every month. Nearby Middleham hosts its weekly market every Sunday. The Wensleydale show takes place over the weekend.
