The Pre Meet BCC FOL is held at Dereham Hockey Club from August 22nd to August 27th. The site is located approximately a 45-minute drive from the FOL Site near Banham Zoo.
Visitors can explore local amenities including high street shops, restaurants, takeaways, and supermarkets within a 15-to-20 minute walk. The site is also well connected by local bus routes to Kings Lynn, Peterborough, and Norwich.
During summer months, a regular steam train service typically runs on the Mid Norfolk Railway from Dereham station to Wymondham Abbey station. Additional nearby attractions include Dereham Windmill with its opening-day cafe and a local distillery located around 20 miles away at Larling.

From the A47 (east or west bound), take the turnings signposted Swanton Morley. Pick up the B1147 (old A47) Norwich Road and head west towards the town centre for around 1 mile. Just past the Coach Makers PH, take the second turning on the left opposite the fire station onto Greenfields Road (following the brown sign for Dereham Windmill). Follow this road for under 1/2 mile and take the second left turn onto Honeysuckle Drive. The site entrance is 30 metres on the right. Follow BCC signs.
