Join The Van Club for an unforgettable motorhome and campervan rally in Grasmere, right in the heart of the Lake District National Park, for our special Great Outdoors themed rally from 10th to 15th September.
Grasmere is one of the most picturesque villages in England, famous for its breathtaking scenery, peaceful lake, and strong links to poet William Wordsworth. With classic slate cottages, cosy pubs, scenic walking routes and iconic local shops — including the famous Grasmere Gingerbread Shop — this rally offers the perfect blend of outdoor adventure and traditional Lakeland charm.
Facilities include fresh water, toilets, showers and Elsan disposal, use of pavilion building including kitchen facilities, a spacious rally field with easy access for motorhomes and campervans, and a peaceful countryside setting within walking distance of village attractions.
This rally follows The Great Outdoors theme, with plenty of organised and optional activities planned throughout the stay:
– Live entertainment on some of the evenings in the pavilion
– Organised group bike ride along scenic local routes
– Organised group walks and hikes for different ability levels
– Social evenings and relaxed community atmosphere
– Games, socialising and classic Van Club fun
Nearby attractions include Dove Cottage & Wordsworth Museum, St Oswald’s Church & Wordsworth’s Grave, Grasmere Lake and Rydal Water, Helm Crag hikes, boating, lakeside picnics, and local cafes and pubs.
