About the Event

Heading north to Shepley in West Yorkshire for stunning views of the 1,084 ft Emley Moor transmitter—Europe’s 4th-tallest tower since 1971. Recorded in the Domesday Book, Shepley evolved from farming to 14th-century wool and now houses the Shelley Spring water bottling plant. Wander its rolling countryside, then drive to nearby Homfirth to spot Last of the Summer Wine filming locations.
